During the annual committee banquet on October 27, 2011 the Rooftop Rodeo gavel was once again given to Howell Wright, President.  New executive counsel members were recognized and Alex Hyland was crowned the 2012 Rooftop rodeo queen.

What is Estes Park Western Heritage, Inc.?

Purpose & Mission: The purpose of Estes Park Western Heritage, Inc. is “to promote the western culture & preserve the western heritage of the Estes Valley by producing & supporting activities for the education & enjoyment of its residents & visitors.” Visit Estes Park Western Heritage, Inc. to learn more.

The Rooftop Rodeo is produced by Estes Park Western Heritage, Inc., a non-profit organization supported by a committee of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and talent to host several western events. 2012 events include:

Membership & Support Options

To be eligible for membership in Estes Park Western Heritage, Inc. you must be at least eighteen years of age and reside within the Park R-3 School District; up to 25% of membership positions are available for non-residents, those who live outside the school district.

General Membership

Active members comprise the main governing body of the Rooftop Rodeo. Members are expected to attend at least seven committee meetings during a twelve month period, participate on working sub-committees, and work the rodeo. To be eligible for active membership you must first join the organization as an Intern.

Intern

This is your foot in the door. Interns must be recommended by an active member, complete and submit an application form, commit to attending at least seven committee meetings during a twelve month period, and work one rodeo. Interns are then eligible to be considered for general membership.

Volunteer

For those unable to commit their time as a member, we have a place for you! Our dedicated group of volunteer “Wranglers” help to support events in a variety of ways.  If you're interested in volunteering complete the online form below. Don't have an email address?
